As of Friday January 29, the CDC has required that all travelers using public transportation must wear a face mask. This new order aims to contain COVID-19 cases throughout the country that have been increasingly rising since the holidays.
With this new order, it is also now mandated that masks must completely cover a traveler's nose and mouth. On top of that, face shields, scarves and bandanas are now no longer permissible forms of coverings either.
