What Are Stacked Jeans?

Stacked jeans are jeans with an intentionally longer inseam, cut so the extra fabric gathers in clean folds, or stacks, above the ankle. The look comes from hip-hop and streetwear culture and pairs with everything from high-tops to boots.

How should stacked jeans fit?

Fitted through the thigh, tapered at the knee, with 2 to 4 inches of extra inseam that compresses into stacks at the ankle. The stack should hold its shape as you walk, not pool over the shoe.

Why most stacked jeans fail short or tall buyers

Most brands cut one inseam per size, so short buyers drown in fabric and tall buyers get no stack at all. AKINGS solved this in 2017 with the J-shape: a single engineered inseam that stacks correctly on anyone from 4'11" to 7'0". That fit is why AKINGS stacked jeans are worn, unpaid, by artists from Lil Baby to Steve Aoki.

How do I choose a size?

Use your normal waist size; the stack takes care of itself. Full measurements are in the denim size guide.
